April Technical Seminar for Members

Where to now for PFAS? Does the NEMP make it any clearer? Presentation by Andrew Kohlrusch, GHD.

The state and territory EPAs (or equivalents) have collaborated to produce the PFAS National Environment Management Plan to provide a degree of consistency across state and territory jurisdictions. Andrew will discuss the current state of play in regulatory terms, what has changed, the NEMP and implications and issues that are still unresolved.

Andrew has been working on PFAS related contamination assessment and management programs for the past decade with involvement in investigation, planning and delivery and stakeholder and risk communication. He has been Defence’s technical advisor for one of the largest and highest profile PFAS site investigation projects in Australia, is currently the lead consultant on two other Defence projects and has provided technical guidance on numerous other PFAS projects across Australia.
