ACLCA is pleased to welcome EPA to discuss the current Review of the Industrial Waste Resource Regulations 2009. The Regulations are the key piece of subordinate legislation for the regulation and management of hazardous wastes, or prescribed industrial wastes (PIW) in Victoria, under the Environment Protection Act 1970. The Industrial Waste Management Policies (IWMPs) all flow from the Act and the Regulations.
Our presenters are: Emma Mountjoy, Policy Officer, Policy and Regulation; and Emma Moffitt, Senior Environmental Officer, Policy and Regulation.
This will be a great opportunity for our industry to hear about the review and to give EPA our opinions from an informed industry perspective. EPA would appreciate our feedback.
STOP PRESS: Bonus EPA Update on Regulatory Reform package.
As well as the Review of Industrial Waste Resource Regulations, EPA will also update us on progress of the overall EPA reform process resulting from the EPA Inquiry.
This membership event is an excellent opportunity to meet the regulators, to find out how the reforms will affect our industry and to ask questions and give feedback.
