ACLCA NSW 2022 Achiever Award - go to NEWS page for results.
One of our most important annual events, the ACLCA NSW 2022 Achiever Award Presentations are being held at 5.30 on Wednesday 29th June 2022 at the offices of GHD. This year we received 11 abstracts, and out of these, four have been selected for presentation, with the winner receiving $1000 in cash, their name on the coveted trophy and an opportunity to present at the International CleanUp Conference in Adelaide in September – a wonderful opportunity for our early career professionals!
All 11 abstracts received this year were of a high quality and covered a range of very interesting topics, and we would like to thank everyone who took the time to submit. They not only demonstrate that the future of our industry is bright, but also that our early career professionals are being given the opportunity to work on some really interesting projects! Each of the abstracts were anonymous and evaluated independently by members of the ACLCA NSW Executive Committee, excluding those with a conflict of interest. Although choosing only four for presentation was difficult, those listed below were selected:
Ola Rachid, GHD:
“Data control practices for out-of-your-control sites: technological approaches to manage large, complex data sets”
Julia Griffin, GHD:
“Contamination chronicles connecting a community”
Courtney Lenzo, Arcadis:
“Catching the treatment train to new experiences”
Charlotte Gray, GHD:
“A passport to learning; how tracking my field experiences set me up for take off”.
This is a great opportunity to come along and support your colleagues and also a great opportunity to catch up with friends and colleagues in the industry!
