Members are advised that the ACLCA NSW Annual General meeting is being held at 2.00pm Wednesday 27th October 2021. Due to ongoing restrictions regarding gatherings, this will be a virtual AGM which members will be able to attend via the MS Teams platform. Further details of the AGM have been emailed to ACLCA NSW members.
In addition to the AGM, we are pleased to announce that we have organised the following technical seminar for members.
TOPIC: Adsorption Applications for CLM: Tips and Thumb Rules.
PRESENTER: Pedro Balbachevsky, EI Australia.
Adsorption is a classic treatment solution used to separate contaminants from liquid and vapour streams. Optimum design and operation can reduce project time and costs. This presentation will cover basic adsorption principles, providing typical application examples in contaminated land management projects, as well as design tips on granulometry, pressure drop, residence time, media regeneration and breakthrough conditions.
Pedro is a Principal Environmental Engineer at EI Australia, with a Master’s Degree in Industrial Processes and 19 years of experience designing, building, commissioning and operating systems for decontamination of soil and groundwater.
Webinar link will be emailed to ACLCA members one week before the event.
