Andre Smit
Andre has 16 years’ experience in contaminated land investigation, assessment and remediation in South Africa, the UK and Australia. As well as being a NSW and ACT EPA Site Auditor, Andre is the Technical Leader for Contamination Assessment and Remediation Group at GHD.
Phillippa Biswell
Phillippa is an Environmental Project Officer - Earth Scientist at Sutherland Shire Council with a background in contamination assessment and remediation. Phillippa has a Master’s Degree in Environmental Management and has worked as an Environmental Protection Officer at Sutherland Shire Council since 2004.
Zoe Smith
Zoe is an Environmental Scientist who joined AECOM in 2016. Zoe has worked on many multidisciplinary projects and is currently managing the fieldwork program for a multi-million dollar investigation around Sydney. 
Jason Clay
Jason is a Senior Principal at Senversa and has been a contaminated land consultant for 25 years. Jason is an accredited contaminated sites auditor in NSW, the ACT and WA, as well as being a Project Director, Technical Leader and Risk Assessor. Jason has a particular interest in sites impacted by chlorinated solvents.
Scott Robinson
Scott is a Technical Director at AECOM and has over 28 years of geology experience and 21 years in the environmental field. Scott’s primary area of expertise is soil and groundwater assessments for sites impacted by fuel products, metals and chlorinated solvents.
Julie Porter
Julie is a Principal Environmental Engineer at WSP with over 20 years of international Environmental Engineering experience. Over the past few years she has been involved in some major infrastructure projects including WestConnex, Sydney Gateway, Crown Casino Barangaroo, Sydney Metro and Wickham Transport Interchange.
Sarah Mansfield
Sarah is a Senior Associate at Norton Rose Fulbright. Sarah has extensive transactional, litigation and advisory experience and advises and acts for government authorities, land owners, developers and financial institutions on contaminated land, pollution, waste, vegetation and planning and environmental approval matters.
Each of our speakers will present for approximately five minutes on the theme of ‘Current Issues in Contaminated Land Management’.
