ACLCA NSW Annual General Meeting - Wed. 28th October 2020
Members are advised that the ACLCA NSW AGM is being held at 2.00pm Wednesday 28th October 2020. Due to ongoing restrictions regarding gatherings, this will be a virtual AGM which members will be able to participate in via the MS Teams platform.
In addition to the AGM, we are pleased to annunce that we have organised the following presentation for members.
TOPIC: In situ stabilisation of contaminated sediments in Kendall Bay – a multiple lines of evidence approach to validation, Jon Hilliard and Yliane Yvanes-Giuliani, WSP.
At its peak, Mortlake gasworks was the largest gasworks in the Southern Hemisphere. It’s operation for almost 100 years left a legacy of contaminated sediments within Kendall Bay. Following almost two decades of investigation works and extensive lab and field trials, full scale remediation of the sediments was undertaken by Ventia on behalf of Jemena in 2020. WSP was engaged as the validation consultant to facilitate final sign-off by the appointed Site Auditor. This presentation will focus on the multiple lines of evidence being used for validation of the remediation works in this world-first underwater sediment stabilisation project.
The virtual AGM and technical webinar will be hosted on MS Teams. If your company does not use this platform, you can access the event online through your browser, or you can download the free MS Teams app. The webinar link will be emailed to members early next week.
