Australian Contaminated Land Consultants Association (ACLCA) is a corporate based professional association established in NSW in 1995.  ACLCA is state based, with chapters now also in Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia.

ACLCA NSW runs monthly technical seminars for members only, traditionally on the last Wednesday of each month, which are FREE to attend.  These seminars are also a great networking opportunity as we serve drinks and finger food prior to the presentations.  The seminars are available for members to attend in person or online as webinars.

We also run various short courses throughout the year, as well as at least one FREE social event for members.  As a not-for-profit association, we place great importance on offering high quality training opportunities for our members at heavily subsidised rates.  Have a look at our 'Events' page to find further information about all of our upcoming events.

Members are reminded that attendance at our training events counts towards CPD hours required by industry accreditation programs, as long as members register online to attend our events.  Members are encouraged to keep track of their own attendance at industry events, so please retain a copy of your registration receipt for your records.

The ACLCA NSW Executive Officer can provide confirmation of attendance at ACLCA NSW events for the purpose of CPD records, however a search fee will be charged:

  • General Attendance Confirmation: $50.00 per hour (or part thereof); or
  • CPD Audit Confirmation: $20.00 per hour (or part thereof).

ACLCA NSW members are quite often able to claim discounted rates to attend UTS CSARM short courses, and other industry training events.

Check out our RESOURCES page for useful links about industry guidelines, training, etc.

Membership of ACLCA NSW is corporate-based, not individual, so check to see if your company is a member of our Association by checking "Our Members" page.  If your employer is listed there, you are welcome to attend our monthly technical seminars, at no cost, once registered via the event page.

If you are a member and would like to receive email notifications about our upcoming events and other important industry updates, please email the Executive Officer to have your details added to the email distribution list.

If your company is not currently a member of ACLCA NSW and is interested in joining the association, you will have to meet our strict ethical and quality criteria. Please see our 'Membership' page for further information on the application process.

ACLCA NSW is the only association in NSW for contaminated land consultants that has strict ethical and quality criteria that applicants must meet in order to become members.

We are unable to recommend any particular company but you can find the contact details for all our member companies on 'Our Members' page.

ACLCA NSW acknowledges and pays respect to the past, present and future Traditional Custodians and Elders of this nation and the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
