Mark Beaufoy is a partner at King and Wood Mallesons, specialising in environmental and planning law. He supports clients such as Commonwealth, State and local government, corporations and developers across a wide range of sectors including industrials and consumer, infrastructure, energy and resources, real estate, and agriculture.
Mark has particular experience in the areas of contaminated land and brownfield redevelopment, major project approvals, environmental regulatory compliance, due diligence and environmental and planning litigation. Over the past decade, Mark has written extensively and provided advice to private clients and government on the various inquiries and reviews of the contaminated land legal and policy framework and environment protection laws in Victoria. Since 2011 Mark has consistently been recognised as a leading lawyer in environmental law by Chambers and in government law, planning and environment law and climate change in Best Lawyers in Australia.
David Lam is a Senior Principal at Coffey. David is an EPA –Appointed Auditor in Victoria and South Australia. David has over 30 years of professional experience in civil and environmental engineering, and has worked across Australia, in the UK and New Zealand.
David has experience in assessment, remediation and auditing of a range of sites, including brownfield redevelopment sites and ongoing industrial facilities where contamination issues are relevant. He has been an active participant in working groups and made written submissions to EPA and the relevant government department in various states, in relation to environmental policy and guidance.
Warren Pump is a Director at Salient GeoEnvironmental Consulting.
Warren is a Fellow of Engineers Australia, and Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP - SC). He is an EPA-Appointed Environmental Auditor in Victoria and Queensland, and former President of the ACLCA.
Warren has more than 35 years of professional experience in the management of a wide variety of projects in the fields of civil, geotechnical and environmental engineering and in waste management. His project management experience includes the planning, design, construction and performance review of urban infrastructure projects; assessment, clean-up and auditing of brownfield sites (principal expertise); and the management of multi-disciplinary environmental projects. His experience covers many states of Australia, as well as United Kingdom, and most countries and NE and SE Asia.
