Monthly Member Presentation - November 2022 (IN PERSON EVENT)

The (relatively) recently enacted Victorian Environment Protection Act 2017 allows for limited scope environmental audits – but we don’t yet have very many examples of these in practice for contaminated sites. This session will explore and discuss:

  • Why the new act has moved away from ‘full’ (formerly Section 53X) audits.
  • Situations where a scoped audit may be useful and practical (including case studies)
  • Things to consider and be aware of when limiting the scope of an audit (or the associated investigation)
